Volkswagen in Brazil has presented its new Nivus crossover vehicle that is slated to go on sale in the country at the end of June.
According to reports, the Nivus is being fully developed in Brazil and will later be exported to Argentina later in the year and Europe in 2021.
It rides on VW’s MQB-A0 platform that underpins the Polo, Virtus and T-Cross models. It spawns a 2.56m of wheelbase, 4.26m of total length.
This difference in length from the Nivus to the T-Cross is mainly in the rear, giving the Nivus a huge boot measured at 415 litres.
The Nivus will make use of a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 95 kW of power and 200 Nm of torque matched with a sole 6-speed automatic transmission.
